The interconnections of communication between humans, nature and machines lead us to rethink the presence of faith. As matter keeps consummating our existence , the faith lies on the empty spaces between the atomic constitution of our universe. A mutant faith is the crossing of the mist who makes us travelling through the unknown towards a desintegrated, fragmented and dematerialised existence based on data travelling in the shape of randomized paterns.

Mutant Faith manifests itself in an installation that uses fiber optics as a conduit for sensory stimulation. Its capacity for total reflection leads to a new irrigation system that enhances the flow of information. Just as our circulatory system is responsible for the nutrition and metabolism of our biological condition, the fiber optic networks appear in this installation as the device that connects us to the machines and metabolizes the borders between the organic and the synthetic. In these channels runs the constant mutation of faith that accompanies us in immateriality.
